Lizzy (Ms. Elizabeth Bennet)

$1,195.00

Lizzy is inspired by an early Grodnertal that is circa 1815-20 with an elongated torso perfect for Empire waist dresses, shapely lower arms that end in a delicate hand with modeled fingers and a separate thumb, a golden tuck comb, and Regency style aged brass earrings. Her body is the exact proportions as Emma, so all patterns and clothing are interchangeable.

Carved and painted by Charles Carver and dressed by Alicia Carver, she comes with a fine cotton slip and a lightweight cotton lawn stripe white dress all made of 100% fine Cotton. All back closures are period correct and drawstring-tied. She also wears a faux coral bead necklace and comes with her blush colored fine wool gauze regency shawl to add a pop of color.

Ms. Elizabeth Bennet is the independent and quick-witted heroine in Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice."

She comes in a wooden box with her artwork on the cover and her round wooden COA. All of our dolls offered on our website are made in a limited series of 50.

***Please know that each doll is hand-carved and painted and there will be minor variations in the completed doll. He is finished in old world Shellack as were the original Grodnertals and thus has a slightly glossy finish. If you prefer the more matte finish, please request that at the time of purchase.”

In the last few pictures, she is pictured with Mr. Darcy who is available in a separate listing.
