Carved and painted by Charles Carver and dressed by Alicia Carver, he comes in his fine gentleman's 1810's wool tailcoat and silk top hat in order to woo his romantic lady interest, Lizzy. The costume includes a gentleman’s button shirt, pants, a tailcoat, a vest and a white cravat.

He comes in a wooden box with his artwork on the cover and her round wooden COA.

Mr. Darcy is one of two central characters from Jane Austen’s 1813 Pride and Prejudice and has become world famous as the prototype of the aloof romantic hero.

***Please know that each doll is hand-carved and painted and there will be minor variations in the completed doll. He is finished in old world Shellack as were the original Grodnertals and thus has a slightly glossy finish. If you prefer the more matte finish, please request that at the time of purchase.”
